A
typical entry in the catalog will look like this:
*Emerson, Lake
& Palmer: Lucky Man/Knife-Edge (ENG) 7" Sing./PS/Manticore-GER/74
Cool live shot on cover. New/New
$20
An
asterisk (*) in front of an entry means that I have more than one copy of that
item.
The
name of the group or artist is in bold,
followed by the title.
An
abbreviation for the group’s or artist’s country is given in parentheses.
The country abbreviations should all be pretty obvious, except for AUS,
which in this catalog always means Australia, not Austria.
If
the item is something other than an LP (such as a Cassette, or a 7" or
12" single), the format is given next; Cassettes (“CASS”) are listed in
bold.
When a 7" or 12" single comes in a picture sleeve, I note this
with the letters PS.
If
the entry is a reissue or reproduction, I indicate this next by the letters RE.
If the entry is a double album or has a gatefold cover, it is shown as
DBL LP or Gatefold.
This
is followed by the label, the label’s country, and the year of release (for
reissues, I give the year of the reissue’s release).
This
is usually followed by a description of the album, although not always,
especially when I think that most people already know about the group or artist.
The fact that I don’t comment on a particular entry has nothing to do
with whether it’s good or not! If
an LP has an insert, I also mention it. If
you don’t see any mention of an insert, assume that it doesn’t come with
one.
If you’re looking for a CD title not listed here, let me know, as there are many others available that didn’t make it in this time.
To save space, for the most part I haven’t listed as much information as I do with LPs. With some groups, longer descriptions can be found in the corresponding LP section.
All
ungraded CDs are new.
